Art 7: This course is required by all 7th grade studnets at Carbondale Area. We focus on introducing the 7 Elements of Art as well as looking at and analyzing Artists throughout Art History.

Advanced Art I: This course is an elective for all High School studnets in 9th grade and up. The focus is on reviewing the 7 Elements of Art and successfully integrating them in original artworks. As well as comparing and contrasting Artworks throughout History.

Advanced Art II: This course is an elective course for all High School studnets. Advanced Art I must be taken before entering Advanced Art II. This course reviews the 7 Elements of Art and begins to introduce the 7 Principles of Art.

Advanced Art III & IV: This course is an elective for all High School studnets. Advanced Art II must be taken before entering Advanced Art III & IV. This course is used as a Portfolio development class where students develop an overall theme that they would like to analyze throughout the creation of a cohesive body of work.
